The Little Earth Charter
The Little Earth Charter was created from The Earth Charter in order to further break down and condense the principles that are encouraged including life, interconnected, family, past, earth, peace, love and future (Little Earth Charter, 2015). It offers educators a ‘springboard’ to teach students a wide variety of subjects within the curriculum including earth science, physical science, life science, ecology, environmental studies, geography, history, social studies, citizenship education and moral education, all of which are related to The Earth Charter (Little Earth Charter, 2015). However while this is very useful for educators it is important to consider that it was only designed for grades prep-3 but can be integrated into any program for children up to the age of 12 (Little Earth Charter, 2015).

Attached is a guide to The Little Earth Charter where it states what each principle is and a song that could be taught to students to help them remember what each principle is. It also includes an example of enriched play for each principle.
